Our church is located just north of downtown near Castlewood Park. Christians have been worshiping in this building since 1949, first as a part of Epworth United Methodist Church then as The Rock/La Roca, and now as Embrace. It is a multigenerational and multiethnic community that meets at 11:00am every Sunday. There is plenty of parking, fresh coffee and donuts, and greeters will welcome you and show you where to go. Our Sunday morning worship service blends traditional hymns with contemporary worship songs, includes a biblically-based sermon, affirmation of the church’s historic creeds, and Holy Communion. Some of our regulars dress up and some don’t, so come as you are!
Children from 6mo – 3yrs are welcome in our nursery where they will be cared for by highly-qualified caregivers.
"Wonder Room" - 4yrs to 5th Grade
Embrace offers a special learning time during the worship service for children four years old to 5th grade. Children will be led to the children's ministry room after the music portion of the service. There will be no children's ministry the first Sunday of the month (children will stay with their families for the entire service).
LOA Sunday School Class - 9:45am
The LOA class focus is to learn and serve the Lord through active participation. This Sunday School class uses the Upper Room for curriculum with other short studies throughout the year. This is a diverse group that welcomes all ages.
